Phantasialand

Immerse yourself in fantastical worlds at a dream theme park

Africa, China, Mexico and Berlin meet mystery and fantasy – only at Phantasialand! Seven themed areas offer a world of adventure with rollercoasters, log flume rides and much more.

What began in 1967 as a puppet theatre with a few boats in the city of Brühl near Cologne is now the ultimate theme park. Phantasialand attracts around 1.75 million visitors every year, making it one of Europe’s most popular theme parks. Visitors can immerse themselves in seven different themed areas over 28 hectares, each carefully designed with impressive detail.

In this fantasy world, intrepid visitors can look forward to a number of attractions in Wuze Town. On the extremely popular Winja’s Fear and Winja’s Force, thrill-seekers are spun this way and that on an action-packed ride. The Würmling Express offers a voyage of discovery along the shores of Lake Mondsee. And for the little ones, exciting adventures await in Wuze Town Kinderland.

One of the highlights of the Deep in Africa area is the Black Mamba. With its loop-the-loops, turns and corkscrews, this ride is one of Phantasialand’s main attractions.

Entertainment awaits in the Berlin themed area, where visitors can journey back to the city at the turn of the 20th century. Mexico offers exciting activities for all the family: visitors of all ages are sure to enjoy the Chiapas log flume ride and the Tikal big drop. The River Quest log flume ride in the Mystery world guarantees spine-chilling entertainment. And in China Town, visitors can recharge their batteries after their exciting experiences surrounded by ornate pagodas and splendid palaces.

The Rookburgh theme world is the ideal place for anyone out for adventure and for aviation fans. The revolutionary flying machine of the Flying Launch Coaster F.L.Y. and a themed hotel unique in the world that offers a night in aviation cabins make the hearts of visitors beat faster by day and night alike.

Phantasialand has something for every age, with the perfect mix of action-packed thrill rides, impressively designed fun rides and a wide range of attractions for the kids. Top-class live entertainment, excellent dining in a choice of themed restaurants, overnight accommodation and conference facilities, which are also themed, round off the package, making Phantasialand one of the must-see theme parks in North Rhine-Westphalia.
