Bühne des Amphitheaters im Nordsternpark

A stage on the canal

From Chris de Burg to the Rockorchester Ruhrgebiet to the RockHard-Festival, the programme of the Amphietheater Gelsenkrichen can't be described as a programme, yet it is one of the best open-air locations in the Ruhrgebiet. The way to the stage leads the artists over a bridge to a platform in the canal. If you don't have a ticket, you can listen on the opposite side of the canal and some high-spirited people even tell you that they were played by Bob Dylan while swimming in the canal.
