Mettmann

The Blotschenmarkt in Mettmann is one of the oldest Christmas markets in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the historic surroundings around the St. Lambertus Church, visitors can expect fragrant mulled wine, Swedish glögg, delicious fried fish, kale, potato pancakes and many other delicacies. Christmas scents, beautiful things for the Christmas tree, glass cutters with engravings on site, warm things for the winter - everyone will find something for their loved ones at home. Santa Claus also comes to the market to receive the wishes of our little ones. A beautiful children's carousel offers a lot of fun. Something very special are the about 40 individually and lovingly decorated fir trees of our elementary school classes on and around the market.
