Cologne, Stadtgarten

The Christmas market in the Stadtgarten will once again be held this year in the Belgian Quarter, near Friesenplatz, with the successful recipe "Give yourself a good time". In Cologne's oldest park, more than 60 exhibitors present modern arts and crafts, nostalgic bric-a-brac and culinary specialties alongside traditional crafts. The homemade organic mulled wine, which is one of the best mulled wines in the whole of Cologne, is very popular. Visitors can also enjoy delicious, hearty dishes such as stews, tarte flambée and raclette while relaxing on wooden benches under the surrounding trees. The weekly changing stalls and exhibitors, as well as the lovely lighting, create a pre-Christmas and romantic village idyll that is second to none. A highlight is the Christmas stage, which invites you to linger with puppeteers, children's theater, fire-eaters, storytellers and jazz concerts.
