EX-Soundgarden

Large disco at its best!

Until 2006, the Soundgarden Dortmund was THE place to go for many Dortmunders. A disco complex large enough for wild nights, which only ended in the early morning hours swaying drunkenly in the large car park. Dark enough for exciting flirts and making new acquaintances. Loud enough to drown out the babble and silly comments. Wild enough to be able to say with certainty that anyone with a clear memory of the night missed out. The Dortmund photo artist Hendrik Müller created a monument to the Soundgarden, which was demolished in 2014, with a fascinating virtual tour:www.soundgarden.mueller-unterwegs.de. It is a homage to a cult disco like none that can be found today. For anyone wanting to wallow in nostalgia, there are Soundgarden revival parties in the FZW.
