Today's youth

Foun­ded in 1979 by a group of 40 people, Druckluft today of­fers a ven­ue for young people. The loc­a­tion dir­ectly next to the old Con­cor­dia col­li­ery was made avail­able to the young people by the city at that time. They de­signed the dilap­id­ated build­ing on their own and cre­ated a feel-good place. In ad­di­tion to sev­er­al stages, group rooms, work­shops and cinema rooms, there are also cafés and a beer garden. A great place for the young and the young at heart to let their cre­ativ­ity run wild and meet new people. In ad­di­tion, the as­so­ci­ation al­ways has an open ear for ques­tions and prob­lems of the young people. Reg­u­lar events such as cross-genre parties, con­certs or film screen­ings take place here. In­ter­na­tion­al mu­si­cians are also of­ten guests here.
