Oberhausen: Druckluft

Today's youth

Founded in 1979 by a group of 40 people, Druckluft today offers a venue for young people. The location directly next to the old Concordia colliery was made available to the young people by the city at that time. They designed the dilapidated building on their own and created a feel-good place. In addition to several stages, group rooms, workshops and cinema rooms, there are also cafés and a beer garden. A great place for the young and the young at heart to let their creativity run wild and meet new people. In addition, the association always has an open ear for questions and problems of the young people. Regular events such as cross-genre parties, concerts or film screenings take place here. International musicians are also often guests here.
