Pristine and wild

Nature Parks & Eifel National Park

Whether on a family hike or a sporty bike tour: twelve nature parks and one national park offer relaxing nature experiences, challenging border crossings and exciting encounters with wild inhabitants - day and night.

Do you like travelling through rustling forests, deep caves and on towering peaks? Then you'll find your happiness in the Sauerland Rothaargebirge Nature Park. Or is water your element? Then follow us to the Schwalm-Nette Nature Park with its rivers, small lakes and streams, moorland areas and premium hiking trails. The Hohe Mark Nature Park has a heart for animals, fruit and vegetables taste particularly good in the Rhineland Nature Park and things get really wild in the Eifel National Park: because in North Rhine-Westphalia's only national park, nature does what it wants. And when it's dark, you'll find the most beautiful places for stargazing in the nature park next door.

So, which nature experience would you like? We have the right tip for you in our overview!
