Prater Bochum

Party monster for the big night

Since the 1980s, Bochum has been THE party centre in the Ruhr region. Because this is where the Zeche Bochum is located, because the Tarm Center established the city as a global disco centre, and because the megastars of the techno scene, such as Juan Atkins, Sven Väth and Westbam have played at Planet Bochum. Today's clubs are carrying on this tradition. An excellent example is the Prater Bochum. Five dancefloors where you can choose between house, chart hits, soft pop and hip hop, as well as an open air terrace, bar, restaurant and lounges. And a light storm that makes the floor and ceiling disappear, and where the dizziness seduces you into ecstatic dancing.
