Rott5Theater

Who starts with "avantgarde" must finish with "Bochum"

Even if Bochum is often regarded as a party town with a generally mainstream programme, there is still a vibrant and fascinating fringe theatre scene and sub-cultural punk and avant-garde music to be discovered here. All this is not always so easy to find. If you are brave enough to get close to the Bochum red light area on Rottstrasse, you’ll find a fascinating location directly behind the railway bridge and under the bridge arches. In the “Rott5Theater”, exciting, professional and experimental theatre is performed on stage. Under other bridge arches, sub-cultural, loud music is played.
