Turbinenhalle

Beats instead of stomping machines

Live in Oberhausen: Everything your heart desires. The Turbinenhalle is a multi-talent and hosts pogo festivals and wrestling shows, as well as concerts and trade fairs. The original Cologne Brings fill the hall, but also acts like Kool Savas and Heino. Originally, i.e. from 1909, the turbine hall built for the Gutehoffnungshütte (GHH) supplied a former ironworks with electricity and compressed air. When the coal and steel industry slowly ran out of steam in the 80s, the machine rhythms were gradually replaced by completely different beats.
