360°-unesco-panoramas

panoramic journey through the UNESCO World

The spectacular photographs of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites in North Rhine-Westphalia will make visitors want to go and see them in real life. Their outstanding quality perfectly communicates the spatial impression, and makes it possible to zoom in down to the smallest detail.

Five of the six most important treasures of North Rhine-Westphalia have never before been seen in this way. The spectacular 360° photographs of the UNESCO World Heritage sites in NRW allow visitors to see them at the click of a mouse, with close-up views into and onto the famous buildings. The outstanding quality of the photographs perfectly communicates the spatial impression, and makes it possible to zoom in down to the smallest detail. Visitors have the opportunity to take a virtual tour of Aachen Cathedral, Cologne Cathedral, the Augustusburg and Falkenlust palaces, the Zeche Zollverein colliery and the Schloss Corvey palace.

With virtual reality glasses, there is now also the option of diving into the UNESCO World Heritage Site buildings from your own home. Try it out!

Either click on the glasses symbol in the navigation bar, or start the panoramas directly in VR mode:
