Bonner Bogen
It's all in the mix
You shouldn’t avoid this side of the Rhine! I have it nice here. Where does the name come from? Here the Rhine (after saying hello to the Siebengebirge) makes another wide arc and then makes its way into the city. From here you have a wonderful view of the Drachenfels. Can you spot the castle yet? Excuse me but let's first concentrate on my Rhine promenade. This is where old meets new; luxurious and down-to-earth. A few pretty remnants of my cement factory line up alongside office and commercial buildings as well as the Kameha Grand Hotel, which settled here a few years ago. Pretty nice, huh? A real architectural sight. It's five stars from me. But we can also just sit on one of the many benches on the bank and “people watch”. Because there is always something going on here!
