I feel most comfortable on the water. It's a good thing that there are so many places here that offer a view of the cool water. My pier on Lake Aasee lets you get particularly close. It leads you 40 metres into the lake and welcomes you at the end with a hexagonal pavilion, my little cottage on the lake as I like to call it. Please, take your time – here, you can relax, pause and look at the glittering lake. Ideally, visit the pier with a packed picnic bag and stay until the sun goes down. It’s my favorite spot for a sundowner. The pier was designed by the American artist - you guessed it - Jorge Pardo. Are you longing for even more proximity to the water? Then rent a kayak, rowing boat or sailing boat and circle the water. Or, take the pedal boat. You may have heard about my swan-shaped pedal boat that a wild swan fell in love with? There was something going on here, I tell you. Watersports are known to make you hungry - how fitting that numerous locations are waiting for you here. What are those giant concrete balls on my shore? These are the "Giant Pool Balls". Don't you see? Oversized billiard balls - and my lawn is the billiard table. Yes, that's art too.
