Sculpture Garden
With a long-distance travel feeling
My sculpture garden is a quasi-extension of the Museum Abteiberg. Compared to other cities, I may not have the biggest one - but as we all know, that doesn't matter, right? I always say: location is everything. Located on the Abbey Hill, it’s wonderfully green with a baroque garden ambience. And which sculpture garden can claim that a visit to it evokes feelings of long-distance travel? The artificially created rice terraces here are a real eye-catcher. Why fly to Bali? Jokes aside, Let's slowly turn to the stars of this place: My sculpture collection. Although, I don't want to anticipate too much either. Just drop by and marvel at numerous plastics and sculptures by international artists. And it’s not only here that you will find exciting exhibits in the wild. As I said, I like art in open spaces - in public squares, in park landscapes and sometimes in hidden backyards. Keep your eyes open while walking!
