Eastern Pader headwaters
Here it just bubbles out of me
My spring pools in the middle of the city have a tendency to look like small lakes. Here, in the eastern Pader source area, two branches of my small but fine river rise. A little further on, in the western part, there are even three, surrounded by a spacious park, which is even a listed building. It's so gorgeous here. Paderborn women used to wash and bleach their laundry here for many centuries. Nowadays, I hope that this green oasis doesn’t remind you of housework. Everywhere on the green slopes, people lie on picnic blankets and enjoy their free time. Or, they stand and sit directly around the spring pool - on the stairs, the small bridge or directly at the water's edge - and listen to the bubbles. It’s just so calming.
