Picturesque Hilchenbach, nestled in the Rothaargebirge mountains, is a paradise for mountain bike enthusiasts. Its privileged location on the main ridge of the Rothaargebirge makes it an ideal starting point for tours into Siegerland, Sauerland or Wittgensteiner Land. There is a perfect infrastructure for cyclists of all levels of experience, with a variety of routes that will delight both touring cyclists and marathon riders. Exploring the region on your own, with GPS navigation or with a local guide, allows you to discover the most beautiful corners of the region. All routes conveniently start from the same starting point, the market square in Hilchenbach. On arrival, you can park your vehicle and enjoy your stay by bike. The best months for these regional cycle tours are from April to October. Another nearby highlight is the Wisent World in Wingeshausen and the picturesque Ederauenradweg and Zinser Bachtal.
