The Blotschenmarkt in Mettmann is one of the oldest Christmas markets in North Rhine-Westphalia. In the historic setting around St. Lambert's Church, visitors can enjoy fragrant mulled wine, Swedish glögg, delicious fried fish, kale, potato pancakes and many other delicacies. Christmas scents, beautiful things for the Christmas tree, glass cutters with engravings on site, warm things for the winter - everyone will find something for their loved ones at home here. Santa Claus also comes to the market to receive the wishes of our youngest visitors. A wonderful children's carousel offers fun for our little ones. Something very special are the 40 or so individually and lovingly decorated Christmas trees from our primary school classes on and around the market.
