Hilchenbach's '7 Summits' are the highest mountains in the town and are located in the middle of the picturesque Rothaargebirge mountains. Hilchenbach's exposed location on the main ridge of the Rothaargebirge makes it the ideal starting point for mountain bike tours into Siegerland, Sauerland or Wittgensteiner Land. The region offers a perfect infrastructure for touring bikers and marathon riders, both for beginners and the more ambitious. The most beautiful corners of the region can be discovered by bike, whether on your own, with GPS navigation or with a local guide. All routes conveniently start from the same starting point, the market square, the heart of Hilchenbach. On arrival, you can leave your car behind and enjoy your stay by bike. The '7 Summits' are a particular highlight in the months of April to October and offer cultural insights and refreshment stops in addition to the sporting challenge.
