The Hugo Junkers Hangar gives a new home to one of the few Ju 52s that are still airworthy and owned by the Verein der Freunde historischer Luftfahrzeuge e.V. At the same time, a sophisticated and exciting exhibition supplies information on the life’s work of the technology pioneer and honorary citizen Hugo Junkers, to whom the city of Mönchengladbach has erected a worthy monument here. The hangar has 1,100 m² of event space in the hall and offers plenty of room for all conceivable event formats with the additional 220 m² in the 3 upper-floor rooms.
