Animals, summer toboggan run and climbing in the Rothaargebirge mountains
Animals, summer toboggan run and climbing in the Rothaargebirge mountains: this leisure park in Sauerland offers a huge choice of ex-citing family activities.
Visitors can look forward to getting close to animals on a day of fun and excitement at the PanoramaPark. This leisure park in Sauerland combines exciting, informative nature experiences with thrilling attractions. While the little ones are climbing or jumping on the “Volcano”, bouncy castle or giant inflatable trampoline they are strengthening and developing their motor skills, sense of balance and mobility. The park has many more activities, from Power-Paddlers to slides at the “Rutschen-Paradies” and the “Fichtenflitzer” summer toboggan run.
Located in the heart of the Rothaargebirge mountains, the PanoramaPark’s large number of spacious animal enclosures are unique. Here, visitors young and old can get close to large, shy animals like wolves, lynxes, bison, red deer and fallow deer. At the petting zoo, goats, sheep, rabbits, guinea-pigs and other animals wait to be fed by younger visitors. At the “Pano’s Tierschule”, visitors can learn interesting information about the animals that live at the park. Regular guided tours along the “Wild- und Waldlehrpfad” nature trail bring visitors even closer to the animals.
The PanoramaPark offers several kilometres of walking trails and a sunbathing lawn to relax. The park has a lake where visitors can buy snacks, while the numerous barbecue areas and huts also offer a chance to refuel before the next adventure.
