Autumn is harvest time - the autumn market in Bad Sassendorf makes this particularly clear: agricultural products and the Westphalian way of life are the focus of the market, which takes place in the spa park of the saltwater and mud spa. Around 90 stands offer fresh products from the region as well as international delicacies. The products on offer range from pumpkins, jams, beekeeping products and fine spirits to floristry and handicrafts, garden accessories and home decorations.
Traditional craftsmanship from blacksmiths, ropemakers and basket makers as well as fine handicrafts can be experienced live at the autumn market. There is also a large selection of culinary delicacies along the Kurparkpromenade. Admission to the autumn market is free.
