Winterberg swimming pool

Winterberg

Dive in and switch off: Guests relax in lane after lane in the 28 degree water. Large panoramic windows provide a view of the romantic Helletal valley. In the Winterberg swimming pool, bathers can experience sporty swimming, relaxation and water fun with a view of the countryside.

The sports pool has flat steps with handrails for people with disabilities. The barrier-free aqua-fit pool can be adapted to individual needs with variable water depth, so that guests with disabilities can also feel comfortable. A wheelchair for hire, a barrier-free changing room, WC and shower round off the facilities for people with walking disabilities.

There is plenty of room for exercise in the spacious 25-meter sports pool. Starting blocks and a one-meter board offer the best training conditions. The adjoining outdoor pool is heated and open all year round. In summer, you can recharge your batteries on the sunbathing lawn and enjoy the view over the Winterberg mountains.

Children love the small play area and splash around enthusiastically in the children's pool with slide and other fun elements. Meanwhile, parents can swim in the barrier-free exercise pool and watch their little ones. To round off the day, we recommend a visit to the adjoining sauna area and the integrated bistro.

Important information about accessibility: certificates

  • "Reisen für Alle" (“Travel for All”) is a nationwide, uniform labeling system for barrier-free travel. It offers reliable information on the accessibility of tourist offerings, such as hotels, attractions and means of transport. Providers who allow themselves to be labeled are checked for accessibility by specially trained surveyors. The results are published in detailed test reports so that travelers with disabilities know exactly which offers are suitable for their needs.
