Theater Dortmund

Dortmund

With its works and the work on and off its stages, Theater Dortmund is a place that creates art, enables cultural and political education and thus promotes social interaction. 250,000 spectators per year, around 800 performances and over 70 productions from 5 different genres every season make it one of the most productive theaters in Europe. Fans of classical and modern drama get their money's worth in this five-division theater, as do lovers of opera, operetta, children's opera, musicals, concerts and ballet. With its Opera House, Playhouse, Studio, Children's and Youth Theatre and Young Opera, Theater Dortmund offers venues whose programs set artistic accents far beyond the city's borders.
