With "Prachtlamas", the Ruhr region has had an extraordinary highlight for 10 years: relaxing nature and animal experiences with llamas against a romantic industrial backdrop. Under the motto "Health - Success - Experience", Beate Pracht and her dedicated Prachtlamas team have managed to make the Ruhr region attractive to nature and animal lovers, those seeking relaxation and hobby photographers with the themes of "Health, relaxation and time out on site".
In 2007, Ms. Pracht founded the company "Prachtlamas" in Gelsenkirchen. Her aim is to support people in stress prevention. In her coaching sessions and also with the mindful llama events, she helps people to effectively reduce stress and build up strong resilience. In addition to her work as a Herzintelligenz® coach and resilience trainer, Beate Pracht works with her five llamas in animal-assisted intervention. She supports and accompanies people in building a happy, healthy and successful life.
Ms. Pracht has already received nine awards for her work, including the BDVT International Training Award in silver in 2009, "Dein NRW Gesund" in 2014 and the Soul@Work Challenge Award in 2015, which was presented to her by Olympic champion Heike Drechlser. In 2007, the year the company was founded, the entrepreneur was presented with the NRW Women Entrepreneurs' Award by the Mayor of Gelsenkirchen, Ms. Preuß.
Beate Pracht and her team are supported by 5 friendly, gentle llamas, whose calmness and balance are simply infectious. During the mindful, decelerating llama hikes, you can experience how moderate exercise, nature and llamas can free stressed people from the pressures of everyday life and give them a deep sense of relaxation.
Pracht, a bank clerk, HeartMath® trainer and Zilgrei teacher, studied sports science at the renowned Cologne Sports University, specializing in rehabilitation, among other things. After completing her degree there, she worked for more than 15 years as a sports and exercise therapist in a clinic for psychiatry and psychosomatics, including with people suffering from depression and burnout. In 2015, her book "Das Herz, unser Glücksmuskel" was published by Randomhouse, Integral Verlag. The director's expertise and qualifications lie in the sports science approach, supplemented by specialist knowledge from recognized training courses on methods of stress management and health promotion.
Today, Beate Pracht continues to work in animal-assisted intervention with her llamas in the Ruhr area and is active as a lecturer in training in cooperation with the Niederrhein University of Applied Sciences, among others. As a trainer and coach, she helps people to reduce stress and heal their hearts. Beate Pracht is now also in demand throughout Germany as a lecturer and speaker.
