Haxenhaus zum Rheingarten

Haxenhaus zum Rheingarten

Köln

Since 1231, documented as "Hus am Bootermaate", the old walls of the Haxenhaus have stood in Cologne's old town. Today, as then, the historic inn on the Rhine promenade attracts locals and visitors from all over the world with its unmistakable charm. While researching the history of the house, new finds are constantly being discovered that tell of times gone by. These stories are combined with a culinary experience, presented by actors and offered as a supporting program or event.

Knuckle of pork in all variations and the homemade bratwurst made to the recipe of master butcher "Löwe Will" are the specialties of the house.
