Hotel Haus Duden

Wesel

The Hotel Haus Duden, the birthplace of Konrad Duden, provides ideal conditions for creative training sessions, seminars, and successful conferences in a green setting. Five event rooms, bathed in ample natural light, accommodate up to 80 participants.

This 4-star hotel is situated in the historic estate of Gut Bossigt, approximately 3.5 kilometers from the city center of Wesel, surrounded by a spacious park. An 18th-century mansion, the birthplace of Konrad Duden, the pioneer of German spelling, has transformed into a charming country hotel amidst the breathtaking natural landscapes of Niederrhein. The serene location makes the hotel an ideal destination for short getaways or corporate events.

Featuring 65 rooms across four categories, the hotel boasts unique personalities in each room. From antique chandeliers to vintage chairs and desks with stories to tell, every detail adds to the hotel's character. Ample free parking is available, and guests can enjoy the convenience of an on-site bowling alley.

Our restaurant, with a spacious terrace, provides a cozy ambiance for enjoying traditional local and seasonal dishes. We also offer a selection of vegetarian and vegan options.

Meetings, Conferences, and Events:
Let yourself be inspired by the spirit of Konrad Duden! We create ideal conditions for creative training sessions, seminars, and successful conferences. Moreover, we offer the perfect setting for weddings, birthdays, or other celebrations. Five event rooms can accommodate up to 80 participants.
