Panoramapark Sauerland

Kirchhundem

The Panorama Park offers around 800,000 square meters of fun and games for the whole family. At the valley station, the "Fichtenflitzer" summer toboggan run invites you to take a speedy ride. On the over one kilometer long track with 4 tunnels and 13 steep bends, everyone gets their money's worth. If that's not fast enough for you, try out the "Wellenreiter" at the mountain station. A rubber dinghy takes you down a water slide from a height of around 10 meters. There are lots of climbing and play options for younger children: the beaver castle, pirate land, knight's castle and gnome's village playfully challenge motor skills and make some "grown-ups" break out in a sweat.

You also get a great insight into the local flora and fauna. The footpath leads along the game enclosures up to the mountain station. Here you can observe red, fallow, black and sika deer. The Panorama Park is also home to bison, emus, llamas, alpacas, meerkats and lemurs. Animals can be fed and stroked in the petting zoo, a highlight especially for young animal lovers. The rhododendron avenue, which is an eye-catcher when in bloom and also leads up to the mountain station, is more of a feast for the eyes for adults. As a comfortable alternative, "Pano's Express" invites you to take a ride through the wildlife enclosures while the chairlift takes you up to the mountain station. Those who get hungry from fresh air and exercise have plenty of choice: there is something for everyone at the "Imbiss am See" in the valley station or in the "Strohkiste" at the mountain station. Barbecue areas and barbecue huts can also be hired in the Panorama Park.
