Monschau Christmas market

The Monschau Christmas market is a magical experience that takes place in the romantic surroundings of the market square. Decorated wooden houses, illuminated trees and 'floating starry skies' enchant the streets and alleyways. In the middle of the historic old town of Monschau, the Christmas market transports you into a fairytale Christmas world. The romantic half-timbered backdrop and three large Christmas trees guarantee pure Christmas anticipation. Advent concerts and festive choral music create an atmospheric ambience. From December 1, Haus Troistorff will be lit up as an Advent calendar. Over 60,000 LEDs light up like a starry sky and invite you to go Christmas shopping. Handmade goods, unusual gifts and decorations are available in the wooden stalls and stores. A gnome trail leads through the town and a historic carousel can be found at the market. Every Saturday, Santa Claus hands out small gifts. Culinary delights are offered on gourmet tours and mulled wine hikes.
