The exhibition "Asterix and Obelix. An immersive adventure" continues the success story of the Phoenix des Lumières in Dortmund with the presentation of two well-known comic characters: the new show at the museum, which was launched in January 2023 as a digital art center in the former gas blower hall of the Phoenix West blast furnace plant, allows guests to accompany the heroes on their search for the druid Miraculix.
Walking through the former Phoenix hall, visitors travel with the friends to the green hills of Gaul. They discover the arid landscapes of Spain, the misty lowlands of Great Britain and the hot deserts of Egypt. State-of-the-art projection technology, spatial sound and impressive images turn fiction into reality.
