The IntercityHotel Herford is located in the heart of the city, close to the Herford train station. Directly opposite is the "Marta Herford" museum for contemporary art, architecture and design, which opened in 2005. Even the exterior resembles a work of art: the asymmetrical museum building made of red clinker brick and stainless steel was conceived by the Canadian-American star architect Frank Gehry.
The 135 rooms of the IntercityHotel Herford each measure 19 square meters. They are located on the first to fourth floors and can be used by one or two people for overnight stays. They are equipped with all the amenities you would expect from a business room. These include a coffee and tea station, a SMART TV, free high-speed internet access and a room safe. The hotel also offers three meeting rooms as well as a bar and breakfast buffet.
