The Xanten Leisure Center extends around the Xanten North and South Lakes, two interconnected inland waterways right next to the town center.
At five new locations, the pillars of Kneipp health - the use of water, lifestyle, medicinal plants, nutrition and exercise - can be experienced. Exercise in the fresh air on the 16 km network of cycling and hiking trails, swimming in the natural pool with a protected swimming area, many water sports and other activities form a unique program for a short break.
With a thousand meters of sandy beach and an equally long water ski circuit, three leisure harbours with boat hire and moorings, a sailing school and opportunities for diving, wind and kite surfing, stand-up paddling and much more, vacation dreams come true here without having to travel far.
From the start of the season, every spring, the leisure harbors of Vynen and Wardt on the Xanten North Sea and the Xantener Südsee water ski cable car are open - daily from May; the Xanten harbor in the immediate vicinity of the town with its large promenade, adventure golf course, "Plaza del Mar" restaurant and boat hire on the Xantener Südsee is open all year round.
Many locations of the Xanten Leisure Center are certified according to the "Travel for All" labeling system. In addition to the offers of the Xanten Leisure Center, other offers and tourist facilities in Xanten are certified.
