The half-timbered route is a picturesque cycle tour that leads through numerous villages characterized by half-timbered houses and through the breathtaking nature of the Bergisches Land. The route starts in Nümbrecht and leads through a variety of picturesque villages and landscapes. The 'Half-timbered route' signposts guide cyclists along the right path. There are numerous places to stop for refreshments along the way, including the Weber fruit juice press house in Lindscheid, where juice from orchards in the Bergisches Land region is on offer. The route also passes through the 'eco-village' of Benroth, which was chosen by NRW as a model village 'ecological village of the future' in 1991. The route offers numerous accommodation options along the way. The half-timbered route is a circular route that is ideal for excursions between March and October. The picturesque landscape and charming half-timbered villages make this route an unforgettable experience.
