DASA Working World Exhibition

Dortmund

This is the DASA

The DASA Arbeitswelt exhibition in Dortmund is an unusually designed experience exhibition for seeing, hearing and participating. Different senses are at work when it comes to experiencing the working worlds of yesterday, today and tomorrow. Our aim is to provide information about the importance of designing work in a humane way. DASA raises awareness of the stresses and strains people are exposed to in their daily work and presents solutions for better working. The focus is not on technology, but always on people.

This is what it looks like in the DASA

In the DASA, twelve exhibition units with a wealth of exhibits, experimental stations and multimedia elements on scenarios of the world of work await exploration on an area the size of one and a half soccer pitches. The twelve exhibition areas are largely barrier-free.

What makes the DASA special

The DASA lives above all through the personal approach and the employees on site. This makes DASA "interactive" in the truest sense of the word. What's more, DASA can cater to the individual needs of people with disabilities. Specialists provide information about jobs in the fields of healing and care, construction, the steel industry, newspaper printing and textiles, encouraging visitors to discover, reflect and ask questions.

The DASA visitor service is also happy to advise groups on relaxed, barrier-free experiences. Guided tours of the building can be adapted to suit the needs of the group.
