Castle Christmas Manderscheid

Pass through the historic castle gate of Niederburg Manderscheid on the 1st weekend of Advent and enjoy the unique scenery and atmosphere of this unique Christmas market. Let us spoil you with culinary delights: Freshly baked cakes, savoury crêpes and waffles, delicious biscuits, steamed mushrooms, tasty potato pancakes, delicious preserves will tempt you. Or how about some roasted almonds? Aromatic teas and herbs or products made from Eifel honey can be enjoyed here. Cosy warmth is provided by hot drinks - such as coffee, children's punch, liqueurs, mulled wine or hot grape juice. Watch the basket weaver or the lace maker at work and admire the magnificent handicrafts made of wood, metal, glass, wax or ceramics at our stalls. Christmas decorations are also on offer for you. Visit the Castle Christmas, a very special Christmas market in the ambience of Niederburg Manderscheid with a living nativity scene. Perhaps the little ones will also discover St. Nicholas and elicit a little present from him.

Bus transfer
Once again this year, buses will shuttle from Niederburg Castle up to Manderscheid. Visitors are advised to use the parking areas in the village, as parking at the castle is very limited. Bus stops can be found at Ehrenmal (near Kurhaus). Please use the car parks within the town. Cost for the bus: 1.00 Euro per person and trip.
