Kartoffel-Kiste

Kartoffel-Kiste

Duisburg

It is the star of Duisburg's oldest restaurant - the potato. Nothing works without it. Nothing at all. This is partly due to its indestructible nature, its many talents and its very special strength: good taste. The Kartoffel-Kiste serves the star of the region sometimes with and sometimes without the skin - boiled, sliced, mashed, fried and even roasted. They are available warm and cold, hot and iced, but one thing is for sure: not as chips. Everything is homemade and home-made in the potato box, from classic potato pancakes to potato schnapps. Many of the kitchen tricks really do come from grandmother's kitchen. The inn offers the ideal setting for family celebrations, whether weddings, christenings, communions, confirmations, birthdays or anniversaries.
