Monheim star magic with ice skating rink

Monheim's Sternenzauber is brightening up the winter season on Eierplatz in the heart of Monheim Mitte: a six-week, free ice-skating event on the 425 square meter ice rink is starting just in time for the first weekend of Advent. The ice rink is powered 100 percent by green electricity from renewable energy sources. You can bring your own skates or hire them on site. Exclusive use of the ice rink is also possible: kindergarten groups and school classes can book the rink in the mornings. Groups can also reserve part of the ice rink in the evenings for curling together. Visitors can enjoy a wide range of food and drink around the ice rink. The two-storey winter chalet right next to the ice rink also welcomes guests at the outdoor counter and inside with winter dishes and drinks. The upper floor can be reserved for Christmas parties.

Christmas decorations and twinkling poinsettias on the lanterns and trees create the perfect ambience around the ice rink and throughout the city center. The neighboring stores invite you to take a Christmas stroll with many special offers. It is easy to get here by public transport via the "Monheim Mitte" stop in the immediate vicinity.
