Whether calm cold-blooded horses, relaxed warmbloods or spirited thoroughbreds - with more than 100,000 horses, Münsterland is one of the most equestrian regions in Europe. Even the absolute top stars of equestrian sport like to come here time and again. Every summer, the international greats of dressage and show jumping compete against the imposing backdrop of Münster Castle.

The Tournament of Champions is one of the highlights of the equestrian calendar: around 28,000 guests come to watch the professionals compete in tests and competitions every year. Dressage competitions up to the Grand Prix Spécial, show jumping competitions up to the Grand Prix at four-star level, team competitions for athletes from the region, youngster competitions and a colorful supporting program for the whole family fill a total of four tournament days.

Riding accessories and delicacies

In addition to exciting sport, there will be attractive offers for equestrian accessories at around 30 stands on the Schlossplatz, as well as culinary delights and a program for children. Horse enthusiasts can watch the stars training up close at the warm-up arena not far from the promenade.
