Alter Zoll

Bonn

The "Alte Zoll" is located at the eastern end of the Hofgarten. This is where the electoral customs house once stood to collect the Rhine toll. The corner bastion of the former city fortifications offers a charming view of the Rhine and the Siebengebirge mountains.

A meadow with chestnut trees characterizes the garden, which can be reached from Regina-Pacis-Weg/Stockentor via an 18-metre-wide, generously designed promenade made of natural small stone - similar to the Hofgarten.
