    • There are four designated parking spaces for people with disabilities.  
    • The entrance/access to the building is step-free with a maximum slope of 10% in the terrain. 
    • The counter of the cash desk is 75 cm high at the lowest point. 
    • The individual houses are mostly accessible without steps, or there are mobile ramps that can be created.
    • The information on the exhibits can be read mainly while sitting.
    • The following aids are offered: Scooters, audio guides and other aids.
    • Guided tours for people with disabilities are offered. 
    • There are three different restrooms for people with disabilities on the grounds.

    Circular path in the grounds:

    • The trail section is 2 km long.
    • There are 15 seats in the path section. The distance between the seats is 250 m maximum.
    • The width of the paths in the section is 250 cm. 
    • The largest longitudinal slope is 15% over a length of 50 m.

    Public WCs

    • The WCs are accessible from at least one side.
    • There are folding grab bars to the left and right of the WC.
    • The washbasin is accessible at a height of 67 cm and a depth of at least 30 cm.
    • The mirror can be viewed while sitting or standing.
    • There is a cord as an alarm trigger.

    • Exhibits are generally well lit. 
    • Exhibit signage is visually contrasting. 
    • Information about exhibits is photo-realistically displayed, conveyed in writing, or acoustically. Most exhibits can be touched.
    • Controls (e.g., door handles, light switches, emergency call buttons) are tactilely detectable throughout the building/object.

    • Signage designed in easy-to-read lettering. 
    • There is good visual contrast between the lettering/pictogram and the background.
