The St. Altfrid Youth Center sees itself as a place of encounter. Encounters with others, with nature, with oneself and with God. It is a place where trust in oneself and in life can grow. It is open to all groups and communities of different ages who wish to use the house for conferences, camps or further training. It is a house of the diocese of Essen, i.e. the Catholic Church, and of course has open doors for other denominations and religions as well as for seekers and non-believers.
With its spatial and material resources, the house is primarily available to youth groups and young adults. In addition, children's, family and young adult groups, vacation camps and music groups are very welcome.
