The Nikolausmarkt in Kalkar is a traditional event that rings in the pre-Christmas season every year on the first weekend of Advent. The picturesque backdrop of the church square around St. Nicolai Church offers an atmospheric ambience that will delight you. The market invites you to linger in peace, enjoy culinary delights, snack on sweet treats and make unique discoveries. There will be a special surprise on both days: in the evening, Santa Claus will be handing out delicious Weckmänner to the little guests.
