Cycle route around Vreden

NaturTour 1 in Vreden runs for around 30.5 kilometers through a varied landscape that shows the Münsterland at its most beautiful. The route starts and finishes in the idyllic town of Vreden, which offers an initial cultural highlight with its historic town center and the iconic kult Westmünsterland. The route runs through wide meadows, small forests and along typical farms that characterize the image of the region. The tour offers the opportunity to observe rare bird species and enjoy the tranquillity of nature. A detour to the Zwillbrocker Venn, home to one of the northernmost flamingo colonies in Europe, is a particular highlight. Cyclists can discover numerous picnic spots and farm stores along the well-signposted route to enjoy fresh, regional produce.
