Unusual views await cyclists on the PanoramaRadweg Niederbergbahn. The trail, which is just over 40 kilometers long, was built along a historic, decommissioned railroad right-of-way. Nearly two dozen bridges—including Germany’s one-of-a-kind railcar bridge—tell the story of the Bergisches Land’s railway history over the past 100 years. At the same time, the route offers fascinating panoramic views of the Niederbergische hilly landscape. The bike trail is connected to other routes beyond the region and is part of the network of Bergische Panorama Bike Trails under the motto “einfach bergisch radeln” (simply cycle through the Bergisches Land)
