Since its opening in 2008, the LVR-RömerMuseum has been the centerpiece of the Archaeological Park in Xanten. The unique building and its fascinating interior are open to all visitors. The 400-year Roman history of Xanten is like a book with many chapters. The LVR-RömerMuseum tells this story in an exciting exhibition with countless original finds from the Roman city and the legionary camps.

    The textile museum in Bocholt was opened in 1989 as a museum factory based on historical models. A boiler house with chimney, a machine house, a production hall with shed roofs, workshop, offices, warehouse, gatehouse and porter's lodge, coach house, railroad track and workers' houses are home to a Münsterland weaving mill from the turn of the century.
