I was challenged to cross the Möhnesee with a boat of my choosing. I chose a paddle boat, thinking it would be the easiest option. Turned out paddling a boat made for 4 people was not easy at all! But the views on the lake were worth every single paddle. If you want to take an easier crossing option: you can also rent kayaks, motor boats and sailboats at the lake.

Bjorn Troch, The Social Traveler
Driving through the hills of Sauerland was a true delight for my van Rose and I. We traveled for about an hour to Winterberg. Winterberg is a beautiful little town that offers great – what’s in a name – winter activities in the colder seasons. It’s also a great place to spend a beautiful summer’s day as well! In Erlebnisberg Kappe, which is some sort of amusement park, you can luge, ride a BMX, or take it easier like me, and enjoy mini golf.
The park is surrounded by forests, which makes it a great spot to go mountain biking. You can rent the bikes in the park!
