Since 2007, the Julia Stoschek Foundation has been a hotspot for art lovers who want to discover the future of art in the present. As one of the world's largest private collections of time-based art, it is dedicated to presenting, promoting and researching innovative artistic practices. The collection ranges from the beginnings of moving image art in the 1960s to contemporary positions that focus on video, film, virtual reality and sound art. Complemented by photography, sculpture and painting, the foundation offers solo and group exhibitions that immerse visitors in immersive worlds of experience.

    • There are two parking spaces for people with disabilities (parking space size: 350 cm x 500 cm). 
    • The building is steplessly accessible via the side entrance (elevator).
    • The path from the parking lot to the side entrance is 100 m long. It is easy to walk and drive on and has a maximum longitudinal gradient of 24% over a distance of 10 m. 
    • All rooms and facilities that can be used by guests and are elevated are accessible without steps or via an elevator.
    • The elevator car measures 131 cm x 180 cm.
    • All doors/passages that can be used by guests and are raised are at least 90 cm wide. 
    • The exhibits/stations/objects and the information on the exhibits are mainly visible and legible when seated.  
    • There is no public restroom designed for people with disabilities.  There is a WC that is accessible via a maximum of one step and has a door width of at least 70 cm.

    • The alarm is no clearly visible. 
    • There is  no audio induction loop system.
    • An outgoing emergency call in the elevator is confirmed acoustically. Alternatively, stairs are available.

    • Stair treads are not visually rich in contrast.  Stairs have a handrail on one side.
