LVR Industrial Museum Euskirchen, Müller Cloth Factory

Euskirchen

Time seems to have stood still in this extraordinary place. In the Müller cloth factory, it looks as if the workers have only just left the machines. The completely preserved factory cosmos, which is unique in Europe, offers a journey into the history of work and fascinating historical technology.

In the Müller cloth factory, you can experience how the imposing carding machine combs the wool, the mighty spinning machines turn it into threads, the looms rattle and the shuttle shoots back and forth. You can also visit the historic office, Müller's house and the dye store.

Every second Sunday of the month, the mighty steam engine from 1903 can be marveled at in full operation.

Special exhibitions on cultural history are presented on a regular basis.
